Mariner shortlisted for the IP&TV World Forum Industry Awards 2012
February 27, 2012
Mariner is proud to announce being shortlisted for the esteemed 2012 IP&TV World Forum Industry Awards. The recognition is for the latest products in Mariner’s xVu solution suite. Mariner’s xVu IPTV service assurance product line is continually evolving in response to the operational and service quality needs of IPTV operators. This nomination recognizes Mariner as one of the final candidates in the “Best Quality Improvement Solution” category.
The 2012 IP&TV Industry Awards ceremony will take place at the London Film Museum on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
In consultation with lead customers Mariner has developed new tools focused at the root of much of the avoidable expenses in the operation of IPTV, the TV installation. The two new modules, part of the xVu solution set, are designed to support both the customer self-install (HomeVu™) and the technician driven installation (FieldVu™).
These latest xVu enhancements deliver numerous benefits to service providers including promoting a best practices approach for TV installations, reduced install time, auto-quality assurance diagnostics certifying the installation as well as enabling effective management of the install process by both internal and contract technicians.
