Hexagon Cup 2025 boosts YouTube, broadcast viewership

The Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025, held from January 29th to February 2nd at the Madrid Arena, has revealed that 2 million viewers tuning in via YouTube and an average watch time of 24:24 minutes – an increase of 29.8 per cent compared to 2024.

Through its second edition, the event has established itself as the most respected professional padel tournament worldwide. From the tournament’s opening day, 30,000 enthusiastic fans filled the Madrid Arena. The presence of padel’s biggest stars, including Arturo Coello, Paula Josemaría, Federico Chingotto and Ari Sánchez, along with icons from other sports, reinforced the significance of an event that was ultimately won by Krü Padel by Taktika – the Sergio Agüero and Gabriel Pérez Krieb-led team – after winning the final against the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille.

The event expanded its global reach, securing 35 broadcast partners (seven more than in its inaugural edition), bringing the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 into approximately 750 million households worldwide (a 9.5 per cent increase from 2024). Additionally the event’s official website engaged 126,000 users, while across Instagram (5.8 million accounts reached), TikTok, X, and LinkedIn, the tournament amassed a total of 20 million video views, marking a 20 per cent increase in community growth, surpassing 55,000 followers.

The tournament organisers say they are already working on new surprises, expanded teams, and greater opportunities for fans in the coming years.
