Sports broadcasting giant ESPN’s Latin American coverage is about to add multiscreen options for viewers to its popular ESPN-3 channel.

ESPN-3 launched on November 14th and the broadcaster says the mobile and PC/tablet options will go ‘live’ during Q1/2012.

ESPN-3 is available in the main Argentine operators – such as Cablevisión, Telecentro and Supercanal, It is also carried on VTR from Chile, Univisa and TV Cable from Ecuador, Dish from Mexico, Cable Centro from Costa Rica and Montecable from Uruguay, among others.

“This is our fourth 24-hour channel, and our second HD. It is a multiplatform and the first and only one in its genre,” stated Guillermo Tabanera, SVP and GM/ESPN Latin America.
