Spain: RTVE back to profit in 2017

Spanish pubcaster RTVE, operator of La 1 and La 2 among other channels, ended 2017 with a surplus of €25 million cutting its debt by over 80 per cent on the previous year.
RTVE’s total revenues amounted to €980 million, €3 million more than expected, versus total costs of €952 million, down 2 per cent.
RTVE managed to reduce its operational costs by 5 per cent and increase its commercial revenues to end with a positive result.
