Comcast, Plazamedia power SPORT1 VoD

Comcast Technology Solutions, a division of Comcast Cable,, and Plazamedia, a German-based content solution provider in production, will provide an end-to-end online platform for SPORT1, the 360° multimedia sports platform offering national and international premium live sports programming. The enhanced SPORT1 VoD services will launch in Q3 2017 with live video services following later in 2017.
SPORT1 offers the free-TV channel SPORT1 and pay-TV channels SPORT1+ and SPORT1 US in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. SPORT1 delivers international and national sports events including football, motorsports, tennis, ice-hockey, basketball, handball, volleyball, hockey, rugby, darts and US sports.
