Ateme unveils DR5000e KYRION line of contribution decoders

Ateme, a specialist in video compression, delivery, and streaming solutions, has unveiled the DR5000e, the latest evolution of its acclaimed KYRION line of contribution decoders.

Designed for premium live sports and event delivery, the DR5000e combines exceptional video quality, ultra-low latency, and rock-solid reliability in a compact, quick-to-start, and energy-efficient design.

Building on the success of the CM5000e encoder, the DR5000e works seamlessly across satellite, ASI, and IP workflows, offering dual-channel UHD decoding and simple software upgrades to increase capacity without changing hardware.

Engineered for hybrid and IP workflows, it delivers plug-and-play simplicity today and future-ready flexibility with upcoming SMPTE 2110 and HLS Contribution ingest workflows.

With integrated BISS-CA protection, co-developed by Ateme and the EBU, the DR5000e ensures secure contribution while paving the way for OTT and cloud-based delivery models.
