Samsung TV Plus, the FAST and on demand service owned by Samsung Electronics, has signed a deal with comedy producers Next Up Comedy to air 15 of The Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s pre-eminent standup shows on its service, available through its linear Comedy Hub channel and on-demand. Airing throughout August, the collection – titled LIVE: Comedy from the Edinburgh Fringe – will drop daily episodes, each featuring a set from some of the best up-and-coming comedic talent that Edinburgh has to offer.

The free to air collection on Samsung TV Plus will be giving comedy fans who can’t attend the festival in person, an up-close-and-personal experience watching some of the standout standups straight from The Royal Mile. The collection will be produced by Next Up Comedy who will film the live shows at various venues across Edinburgh and Samsung TV Plus will broadcast to viewers via the Comedy Hub just 72 hours later at 8-9pm every night or on catch up at any time from August 12th.
