Brøndby IF partners with Pluto TV
July 1, 2025

Danish football club Brøndby IF and Pluto TV have announced a partnership that will see the free streaming platform create and distribute content to the club’s fans.
As a key element of the collaboration, a dedicated Brøndby IF channel has now launch on Pluto TV. The channel offers content around the clock, and there is also a selection of on-demand titles. In the autumn, Pluto TV will debut original content relating to the football club that will see Brøndby legends and current players share their favourite moments and anecdotes from the dressing room.
Martin Sahlertz, Director of Sales & Business Development at Brøndby IF, commented: “We are very happy to welcome Pluto TV. We associate with a partner who already has a strong cooperation with, among others. Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid. So it is in many ways a platform which can increase our reach nationally and potentially internationally over time. In addition, it gives us the opportunity to further develop our own content production.”
Jesper Dahl, VP & General Manager, Pluto TV, said: “We are seeing a fantastic opportunity in being able to offer such a large and committed fanbase as Brøndby IF a unified, free and easily accessible channel filled with content close to the club. We look forward to becoming an active part of Brøndby IF’s digital journey and to bringing the club’s stories to even more football fans in Denmark.”
Niklas Buchardt, Partnership Manager at Brøndby IF, added: “The partnership is a step in the right direction towards bringing Brøndby IF closer to both existing and new fans outside match day. It will also become clear both through content production and social media formats that we develop together. Pluto TV will also be a partner at our upcoming training camp in Austria, where fans will have the opportunity to get even closer to both the players and Pluto TV through joint activities and exclusive content directly from the camp.”
