Mediapro production for World Karate Federation

Mediapro, through Broadcast and Media Services, its division specialising in audiovisual services, will produce the main competitions of the World Karate Federation throughout 2024-25. The goal of the agreement between the audiovisual group and the leading representative body for karate is to enhance the generation and quality of content and thereby boost audiences for these events.
The group, with extensive experience in the production of live sports events around the world, will produce the six tournaments of the competition in 2024 and a minimum of 7 in 2025. Mediapro will be the host broadcaster for three of the federation’s main international competitions such as the Premier League European and World Championships, which will be held in 2024 and 2025 in Paris (France), Cairo (Egypt) and Casablanca (Morocco) and Antalya (Turkey); The alliance also includes the agreement with the European Karate Federation to produce the European Karate Championships that will be held in 2024 in Croatia and in 2025 in Armenia. Mediapro will deploy technical and human resources to generate the audiovisual signal for these sporting events and will be responsible for producing a 25-minute programme on each Premier League tournament.
The audiovisual group’s extensive includes the Pan American and Parapan American Games recently held in Chile and also those held in Lima in 2019, as well as the Mediterranean Games and the European Games, among other multi-sport events.
