Pact appoints international lead
July 24, 2023
UK screen trade body Pact has appointed Ross Lewis as its head of international and projects.
Lewis will be responsible for working with members to develop their export potential, addressing any trade barriers such as regulatory or access, and seeking new business opportunities across key territories. He will also be responsible for building stakeholder relationships across the UK and overseas and representing Pact on key stakeholder advisory boards.
Lewis joins from the UK government’s department for business and trade, where he has spent the past seven years as senior account manager for screen and publishing. Lewis was responsible for managing relationships with industry associations including Pact and also the BFI, BFC, Film Export UK, Animation UK and UK Screen Alliance.
Pact CEO John McVay said that Lewis “brings with him a wealth of knowledge from both the political and international sectors and many Pact members will already know him from the numerous events Ross has attended in his role at DIT.”
