BT Sport to air Women’s Champions League
March 1, 2021
BT Sport will broadcast action from Chelsea and Manchester City’s UEFA Women’s Champions League games.
BT Sport’s live coverage will kick off on March 3rd with Fiorentina’s trip to Manchester City March on BT Sport 2, as Gareth Taylor’s side look to go one better in this year’s competition, having been eliminated by Toni Duggan’s Atlético Madrid at this stage last year. Coverage of the second leg of the clash will be shown on March 11th.
Following the game’s conclusion, the action will continue on BT Sport 2 with Atlético’s trip to Kingsmeadow, as Emma Hayes looks lead her side to the Quarter Finals. The Blues will be confident of a result as the Spanish giants have so far failed to trouble Barcelona for a top spot in the league, and currently find themselves outside the European places. The return leg will take place on March 10th.
Coverage will be presented by Clare Balding alongside former England international Claire Rafferty.
