Friend MTS joins DPP
July 21, 2020
Content protection services provider Friend MTS has joined The Digital Production Partnership (DPP), an international media industry organisation and business network. In DPP’s global effort to bring customers and suppliers together to solve problems and create opportunities across the whole content supply chain, Friend MTS’s membership offers industry expertise around content protection services as it relates to broadcast, OTT and social platform responsibility and copyright infringement.
“It’s a privilege to bring our thought leadership on the most effective technologies to combat sophisticated large-scale piracy to DPP’s respected organisation and our fellow members,” said Alan Ogilvie, Lead Product Manager, Friend MTS. “As the industry finds a way forward amidst COVID-19, now is the time for content owners, broadcasters and operators to implement effective technologies to protect valuable content and take control of where content flows as copyright infringement continues to pose a threat to revenue streams.”
“The DPP is delighted to welcome Friend MTS as the newest member of the DPP community,” said Mark Harrison, DPP Managing Director. “We’re sure that their expertise in content and platform security will be extremely valuable as we continue the DPP’s work to deliver a simpler and more effective global content supply chain.”
