December 16, 2019
Insight TV, the 4K HDR broadcaster, content creator and format seller, is continuing its European expansion with a debut in Poland in the new year. Insight TV will be launching on one of Poland’s major cable operators TOYA in January 2020. In preparation for the launch, Insight TV has been working with TOYA Studios to localise its authentic and inspired content for Polish audiences, with the Polish audio already available on the Insight TV UHD satellite signal (Astra 19.2°E).
Pay-TV subscribers in Poland will be able to watch Insight TV’s highly anticipated shows premiering in 2020 in 4K HDR including Martial Arts series Story of Masters as well as Ghost Chasers: Exploring the Other Side featuring YouTube stars and ‘urban explorers’ Josh and Cody.
Jacek Kobierzycki, TOYA CEO, commented: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Insight TV to be the first cable operator to feature its 4K UHD HDR content in Poland. It is a great opportunity for our subscribers to watch programs in the highest possible picture quality. Our viewers will be thrilled to watch Insight TV’s inspiring programs told through the eyes of global influencers.”
Graeme Stanley, Chief Commercial Officer, Insight TV, added: “This launch marks a milestone in our European expansion. Insight TV is available in over 40 different countries via linear channels and Poland is a particularly important market for us. TOYA is committed to providing the most engaging content in the highest quality making it the ideal partner to introduce us to the Polish audience.”
