Amazon Prime Video releases first look at Star Trek: Picard

Amazon Prime Video has revealed a first look at the highly anticipated return of Jean-Luc Picard with a teaser trailer for the upcoming Amazon Original series Star Trek: Picard.
Star Trek: Picard features Patrick Stewart (X-Men) reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The new series will follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life.
Alongside Stewart, Star Trek: Picard will also star Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Michelle Hurd (Blindspot), Evan Evagora (Secret City), Isa Briones (Takers), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation), and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful).
Star Trek: Picard will stream on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. In the United States, the series will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, and in Canada on Bell Media’s cable networks, Space and Z, and OTT service Crave.
The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman (Sleepy Hollow, Michael Chabon (John Carter), Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), James Duff (The Closer), Stewart, Heather Kadin (Salvation), Rod Roddenberry (Earth: Final Conflict) and Trevor Roth (Star Trek: Discover) serve as executive producers and and Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout) will serve as co-executive producer and Kirsten Beyer (Star Trek: Discovery) as supervising producer. Hanelle Culpepper ( A Single Rose) will direct the first two episodes of the series.
