Dimetis integrates V-Nova P.Link
August 24, 2016
Dimetis and V-Nova have announced a technology partnership. The relationship sees V-Nova Perseus-powered P.Link contribution solution integrated with Dimetis Boss Link Manager. The integration will ensure that Dimetis customers can easily integrate, fully control and manage P.Link-powered video networks. This is a major milestone in enabling service orchestration to shake up the traditional hardware-based contribution market and accelerate the transition to a more software-based and virtualised environment.
“We believe in consumer demand for higher quality and for the need to capture and exchange more and more captivating 4K / UHD content. By allowing 4K to be delivered alongside HD feeds within the existing capacity, Perseus-powered P.Link makes the business case for 4K contribution much more appealing today,” said Guido Meardi, V-Nova CEO & Co-Founder. “The partnership with Dimetis, which has a really strong reputation for operational support systems in the broadcast and telecom markets, ensures that our customers can now deploy, control and manage P.Link software-based solutions much more easily using Boss Link Manager.”
