Virgin raising Sky Sports, Sky Movies prices

Virgin Media customers who subscribe to Sky Sports and/or Sky Movies will be hit with price hikes of up to 8 per cent from June 1st.
The move will see around 880,000 customers paying between £12 (€15.42) and £30 extra a year depending on their package.
Virgin Media said the price hike comes as a direct result of Sky increasing wholesale costs, addingthat the new prices customers will pay matches the wholesale increase it will have to pay Sky.
