Italy’s TIM has signed content deals with NBC Universal and Twentieth Century Fox for its on demand streaming service TIMvision.
The multi-year agreement with NBC Universal will enable the telco to offer its subscribers numerous movie titles produced by Hollywood majors, including box office hits such as Fifty Shades of Grey, Fast & Furious, upcoming release Jurassic World and The Minions, the next instalment in the Despicable Me saga.
For its part, the deal with 20th Century Fox will provide access to numerous movies and TV series, including Family Guy, Futurama, Lie to Me, The Glades and movies such as Home Alone, Garfield, Dr. Doolittle, The Fantastic Four and the Transporter trilogy.
TIMvision offers users two possibilities: unlimited access to the catalogue with over 6,000 titles for €5 per month and access to a video store for renting (€1.99) or buying (€4.90) content individually, including in HD.
In addition to apps for smartphones and tablets, and the web version, it is also possible to access TIMvision via a decoder for all those who already have a phone line from TIM.
