Fox International Channels (FIC) Italy today has confirmed the appointment of Fabrizio Salini to Managing Director of FIC’s Italian operation, effective February 17th 2014.

Salini, who served as Vice President of Entertainment Channels for FIC Italy between 2003 and 2011, returns after a 2-year stint serving senior management roles at SKY Italia, Discovery Communications Italia and Switchover Media..

His experience in pay and free television, across multiple genres, will be key in leading our business forward and in creating value both for pay TV subscribers and advertisers, especially in this new and very competitive market scene”, said Diego Londoño, FIC’s Executive Vice President.
