TalkTalk TV seeks 500 employees
September 3, 2012
TalkTalk, the ISP that is moving into television in the hope of offering customers a rival service to Virgin Media, is to create 500 new jobs.
The positions, revealed by chief executive Dido Harding in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, will be for engineers visiting the homes of the thousands of people who have signed up for the company’s new television services.
The engineers, whose visits will cost people £50 (€63), are aimed at ensuring that customers’ broadband connections are running at maximum efficiency and therefore can deliver the best service.
