TVO, Ontario’s public educational media organisation, has launched TVO On Demand, an Android app for Google TV allowing Canadian viewers to watch their favourite programmes at their own convenience.

Using the free app and a Google TV set top device, viewers can stream TVO programmes over the Internet directly onto their television.

The Sony Internet Player with Google TV launched this week and is the first device of its kind in the Canadian market.
