Deutsche Telekom has reportedly reached an agreement with pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland in a major deal which will see Deutsche Telekom carry Sky’s Bundesliga football coverage from the 2013-4 season.
Price discussions are still taking place says the newspaper, and these could always stumble, but if a deal can be reached this adds a very useful revenue stream to Sky.
Investors took the news well, and despite some volatility in Sky Germany’s share price, at 2.13, the shareprice is almost €1 ahead of its position in mid-January.
