Spain: Launch of new TV services

Mediaset Spain, owner of Tele 5 and Cuatro, has started the HD transmissions of Cuatro, adding Cuatro HD to the existing HD nationwide offer of terrestrial channels in Spain: TVE HD, Telecinco HD, Antena 3 HD and La Sexta HD.
Meanwhile Antena 3 TV is intensifying its multimedia offer with the launch of Nubeox, a new online video store with 1,500 films and 50 series. This VoD service will offer productions to rent from €0.99 and to buy from €4.50.
Prisa TV has launched Canal + Movil through Orange mobile TV that currently has 27 TV channels. Subscribers will have to pay a monthly fee of €6 to access the channel from the second month, the first will be free of charge.
