China Telecom IPTV expansion tender

China Telecom has opened tender bidding for IPTV platform expansion in six provinces. The expansion will take place in Fujian, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hainan, Hunan, and Chongqing.
Huawei, ZTE, UTStarcom, Cisco, and Channelsoft are among the firms invited to submit bids. The evaluation process will be 45 per cent based on technology, 35 per cent on price, 10 per cent on business operations (company size, business licenses, etc.), and 10 per cent on service, says China Telecom.
China Telecom has already completed its latest IPTV set-top box procurement tender.
