New routes for CASBAA
October 26, 2011
In the run-up to the Convention 2011, CASBAA has added to its regional reach in the multichannel TV sector with the addition of new members NHK World TV (Japan), Asian Broadcasting Network (Malaysia), Forever Group (Myanmar) and KPMG India, along with global services supplier Getty Images. Meanwhile, multicultural broadcaster TRACE has upgraded to Patron status and there is a new Individual member, Jeremy Hall-Smith.
As a division of one of Asia’s largest broadcasting organizations, Patron Member NHK World TV is available to 137 million households in more than 120 countries.
“Along with our new broadcasting, technology, services and distribution members, NHK’s experience will help further the growth of multichannel TV across the region,” said Simon Twiston Davies, CEO of CASBAA. “The addition of Asian Broadcasting Network (formerly Nilamas Corp), Getty Images, Forever Group and KPMG India and the upgrade of TRACE reinforce CASBAA as a unique industry voice representing the diversity of the region.”
