Cablemás gets more from Conax

Cablemás, Mexico’s second largest cable operator is expanding its digital service offering to include next-generation IP video services using the Conax security platform and Evolution hybrid IP set-tops and DVRs.
Cablemás has continued to grow its subscriber base through its bouquet of value-added triple play services. Now Cablemás can also offer the advantages of a digital environment to households across the country.
Conax has deployed four redundant centralised Content Security head-ends to serve Cablemás’ one million plus subscriber base. The Conax System is highly scalable and offers Subscription, Pay-Per-View, Conax Pairing and On Demand products. Already over 260,000 high quality SD and HD Evolution Digital devices have been shipped and installed with an additional 320,000 on order.
