Viasat launching new HD channels

Viasat Broadcasting will launch three new HD channels in Sweden at the beginning of March. First out is Viasat’s core brand – TV3 – which will be available also as TV3 HD on March 1st. The premium sports channels Viasat Fotboll and Viasat Motor will get their HD versions on 10 March.
TV3 HD will make programmes such as The Mentalist and Navy NCIS available in HD for the Swedish viewers. Viasat Motor HD will broadcast live Formula One and Moto GP racing whilst Viasat Fotboll HD will host coverage of the UEFA Champions League as well as additional matches from Barclays Premier League.
The new HD channels will be available to Viasat’s satellite subscribers and to its IPTV subscribers.
