Hitron Technologies, a global provider of branded networking solutions, has announced that cable MSO ZON Multimedia is the latest service provider to deploy its new DOCSIS 3.0 8×4 Wireless-N Cable IAD for cable operators.

ZON provides comprehensive service, including HD cable television, high-speed Internet access, fixed and mobile telephony. Hitron’s CVE-30360, enables ZON to offer up to 400 Mbps data services as a differentiated offering in the highly competitive Portugal residential broadband market. ZON has previously deployed Hitron’s first generation DOCSIS 3.0 4×4 Wireless N Cable IAD to provide 200Mbps to its subscribers
