ANGA Cable Show: Early bookings for more than 50% of the stand space
November 9, 2010
Six months before its start, ANGA Cable, the leading European Trade Fair for Cable, Broadband and Satellite, announces a record demand for stand space. Binding registrations have been received from 160 companies for more than 50% of the exhibition space of the previous year. This exceeds clearly the booking situation at that time of the previous year.
Next year, the ANGA Cable Show will take place from 3 to 5 May 2011 in Cologne (Germany). In 2010, 395 international exhibitors from 31 countries were present and for the first time more than 15,000 trade visitors attended the show. This is a 10 % visitor growth compared to 2009. 43 % of the visitors travelled to Cologne from abroad.
The three-day event will be opened by Matthias Kurth, President of the Federal Network Agency. Key topics of the show and the congress will be Next Generation Access Networks, Interactive TV, Hybrid TV, HDTV, Video on Demand, 3D TV, analogue Switch-Off and Smart Home.
Dr. Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA Cable: “We never had such a strong demand at such an early date. It is especially noticeable that many longtime clients wish to enlarge their exhibition space. Therefore we have already started with the preparations for the stand allocation.“
