Avail-TVN, the largest digital media services company in North America, has announced an industry-wide, long-term digital media services deal with entertainment channel, VOD and online service, EPIX.
The agreement provides EPIX with the technological capability to access over 48 million VOD households via every service provider in North America, providing a seamless on-ramp to launch as affiliate agreements are completed. EPIX has already completed agreements with Verizon FiOS and Cox Communications. EPIX offers more than 300 hours of multi-platform content in standard definition (SD) and HD, including new Hollywood releases, expansive movie libraries, original programming and comedy and concert events from joint venture partners Viacom, its Paramount Pictures unit, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. and Lionsgate.
