Fetch content deals
January 21, 2009
Fetch TV, the IPTV platform from IP Vision, has signed content deals with the National Geographic and Baby TV to create branded environments within its EPG listings. The deals, which are the first since Fetch TV launched last November, will see users directed through to fully branded pages that include VoD content when selecting either channels on the EPG.
Fetch TV is an IPTV play not affiliated to an ISP, with users able to access Freeview, HD and VoD content through a set-top box connected to their broadband connection. Eddie Abrams, IP Vision CEO, said the deals signified Fetch TV’s intentions to provide unique branding opportunities for channels.
