Comcast Wholesale, which delivers CDN and multiscreen services, has launched a live linear turn-key streaming service that it will market to a range of programmers and video distributors, including OTT.

The new service, launched at IBC, is designed to help partners quickly deliver video streaming.

Comcast said its new platform, which uses its subsidiary thePlatform’s mpx video management system, can support and manage a variety of business models, including advertising  or subscription. The service also features a VoD workflow and publishing capability.
