HBO acquires web-series High Maintenance
April 22, 2015
Hit web-series High Maintenance is heading to HBO with six new episodes, and the premium cable network is also bringing the first 19 episodes to HBO, HBO Now and HBO Go “later this year”.
The show follows a Brooklyn pot dealer as he navigates a tangled web of clients and competition. It’s currently exclusive to web video platform Vimeo, and is already several seasons in.
“High Maintenance has proven to be one of today’s most highly-acclaimed online comedies,” commented Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO Programming. “We are thrilled to bring this sophisticated and clever series to our HBO audience.”
