Press TV, the controversial Iranian channel, is back on at least two satellites following the lifting of various international trade prohibitions.
Press TV is now on Galaxy 19 (from 97 deg West) and Intelsat 20 (68.5 East). The signals went live last week, as did Iranian-language channels iFilm and al-Kawthar.
Press TV is also carried by Globecast, Optus and other broadcasters including ArabSat’s Badr 5 (26 deg E) as well as NileSat (7 deg W), Thaicom 5 (78.5 E) and Russia’s Express AM-44 (11 deg W).
