iTunes debut for Mr Selfridge season 2
January 17, 2014

NBCUniversal International has revealed plans to make ITV Studios’ smash hit period drama Mr Selfridge available to download and own from iTunes three days before the broadcast of each episode (of the second series) on ITV. This Electronic Sell-Through (EST) agreement marks the first time ITV Studios Global Entertainment has agreed a deal for an entire series run on iTunes pre-broadcast. ITV Studios Global Entertainment licensed Home Entertainment and DTO worldwide rights to the drama (excluding the US, Canada and Japan) to NBCUniversal in 2013
The second season of Mr Selfridge will launch on ITV’s flagship channel on Sunday 19 January at 9pm, but fans in the UK have been able to find out what happens in the series first on iTunes since January 16.
Each of the 10 episodes will be made available, in both HD and SD, on iTunes every week on Thursday for the run of the entire series and can be viewed on all iOS devices. The DVD release is scheduled following the series run on 24 March.
