Viacom-backed Comedy Central has managed to overturn its 10-day ban over India. Even though a 10-day ban was imposed at midnight on May 24/25 by the Indian High Court sitting in Delhi, just three days later an appeal was allowed by the Court, and the channel is now back on air.
Officially, the decision to ban the channel has been “set aside” until a later hearing scheduled on August 2nd.
