The FIA Extreme H World Cup, the hydrogen motorsport, has signed a two-year broadcast agreement with Fox Sports, ensuring racing fans across Mexico and Central America can follow the next era of sustainable racing.
The action will begin with Extreme E’s ‘Final Lap’ on October 4th to 5th, a celebratory farewell to its electric racing, before the launch of the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup on October 9th to 11th , with both events happening in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.
Coverage will be available in English and Spanish across Fox’s linear and digital channels offering live races, highlights and exclusive features.
Extreme H will showcase eight international teams and a mixed grid of male and female drivers, competing in a unique multi-format race weekend that pushes the boundaries of performance while demonstrating hydrogen’s potential for both mobility and event power.
Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E and Extreme H, commented: “This partnership with Fox Sports brings Extreme H to one of the most vibrant motorsport regions in the world. Fans in Mexico and Central America understand the drama of racing, and we’re excited to share not only a new competition but also a vision of how hydrogen can shape the future of sport and energy.”
Luis Maldonado, Exec. Director of Programming and Acquisitions at Fox, added: “We are excited to welcome Extreme H to Fox, a groundbreaking championship that redefines motorsport while setting new standards in technological innovation and gender equality. This partnership reaffirms our commitment to delivering world-class, cutting-edge content and bringing fans across Mexico and Central America closer to the future of racing.”
This agreement is part of Extreme H’s broader strategy to grow its broadcast footprint worldwide as it prepares to make history as the first FIA-sanctioned hydrogen racing World Cup.
