Channel 4 News has launched a free app across iPhone, iPad and iTouch devices. The apps will include the most popular features from the website.

Users will also be able to read the complete catalogue of news blogs available on the site, and read news stories updated in real-time via the apps, which integrate with Facebook and Twitter. The broadcaster will follow the launch with a roll-out across Android devices in the autumn.
