SpaceX adds 57 satellites to constellation

SpaceX launched an additional 57 of its Starlink satellites into orbit on August 7th from its Florida facility.
This latest batch takes the overall number launched to 595 although a handful have failed and been allowed to burn up in the atmosphere. Nevertheless, SpaceX is now firmly the operator of the world’s largest satellite constellation.
This was the 10th launch for the Starlink fleet and SpaceX says it can start rolling out a limited ‘beta’ service to users after the 12th launch. By Launch 24 the company says it can serve almost all of the planet.
Following the launch the Falcon 9’s booster was successfully retrieved on the team’s floating barge.
