France: Arte HDR on Molotov and Free

Arte has announced the launch of a 1080p demo channel called Arte HDR, produced from an HD feed, that will broadcast for the next 12 months.
The channel is initially available on OTT TV platform Molotov.tv and Free’s Box One and Delta STBs, and will soon also be available on all HDR-compatible TV sets and mobile phones.
The demo channel has been launched in partnership with Philips – which delivers distribution solutions as well as Technicolor, Ateme and Cobalt.
Over the one-year period, Arte’s will use the channel to test and validate various production and distribution options, and listen to users’ feedback.
