Greece’s Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information (HDPE) has commenced a project designed to provide residents in non-TV areas with access to Greek national broadcasting television stations.

Greece has many mountainous regions and the initiative is sought to provide signals to 3,596 settlements (“white areas”) of the country and would provide coverage to an estimated 542,000 citizens (or about 217,000 households).
