June 25, 2026
Premier Sports and FR-UK have announced a new partnership to deliver enhanced coverage of the 2026 Top 14 Final, bringing UK and Irish rugby fans closer to French rugby’s showpiece occasion.
The Top 14 Final takes place on June 27th at the Stade de France, with defending champions Toulouse aiming to secure a fourth consecutive Bouclier de Brennus title against Montpellier in one of the most anticipated club rugby matches of the year. The contest for the French crown carries the weight of history. Toulouse are aiming to reinforce their position as the dominant force in European club rugby and add another chapter to an era-defining dynasty. Montpellier, meanwhile, are looking to upset the favourites and deliver one of the competition’s most memorable triumphs.
Premier Sports, the exclusive home of Top 14 rugby in the UK and Ireland, will work with FR-UK to produce dedicated pre-match, half-time and post-match programming, providing viewers with expert analysis, insight and reaction throughout the occasion.
The coverage will be fronted by FR-UK founder Tim Cocker alongside former England international and experienced Top 14 coach Joe Worsley with special rugby guests joining the programme. Content from the special programme will feature within Premier Sports’ live television coverage and be distributed via FR-UK’s YouTube channel, helping broaden access to the Top 14 Final and introduce new audiences to French rugby.
Richard Sweeney, CEO of Premier Sports, commented: “The Top 14 is one of the most exciting and competitive rugby competitions in the world and its popularity continues to grow among UK and Irish audiences – we have seen significant growth in subscriber and audience numbers tuning into our live coverage throughout the competition in recent seasons. Our partnership with FR-UK allows us to deliver even greater insight and analysis around the Top 14 Final while bringing new fans closer to one of rugby’s premier club competitions.”
Tim Cocker, co-founder of FR-UK, added: “FR-UK was created to celebrate and grow the audience for French rugby outside France, so partnering with Premier Sports on the biggest match of the Top 14 season and one of the standout events in the global rugby calendar is a fantastic opportunity.
