Germany: Joyn sees record audiences
December 9, 2025
Joyn reached a record 12.4 million viewers in Germany November 2025 (net reach, 3+ age group). This puts the ProSiebenSat.1 streaming service some 1.8 million users ahead of RTL+. In the strongest month in its history to date, Joyn grew by 104 per cent compared to November 2024. Joyn also grew by 44 per cent in terms of watchtime, both live and on demand.
Henrik Pabst, Chief Content Officer responsible for all content at the ProSiebenSat.1, commented: “Joyn has broken the 12 million mark – shortly after we passed the 11 million mark in October. The German streaming audience is bringing us strong growth in live TV via our major brands SAT.1 and ProSieben, and even stronger growth on demand. This clearly shows that we have the largest and most diverse range of free programming in the key genres of reality, German fiction, and shows.”
The smost popular Joyn content in November were the reality hits Das große Promibüßen (The Great Ccelebrity Atonement) and Forsthaus Rampensau (The Forester’s House of the Show Offs), the German detective series Der letzte Bulle (The Last Cop) with Henning Baum, Frier&50 starring Annette Frier, and Die Landarztpraxis (The Country Doctor’s Office), as well as the long-time audience favourite The Voice of Germany competition series.
