BCNEXXT collaborates with AWS
February 18, 2025
BCNEXXT, a provider of virtualised, cloud-native systems for Linear, VoD, and OTT publishing, has announced its successful collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver the automated deployment of cloud resources within Vipe. This technology, now in use across multiple channels, dynamically allocates cloud resources based on demand, offering broadcasters unmatched efficiency, scalability, and cost-savings while solving long-standing industry challenges.
Unlike traditional systems that rely on fixed allocated resources like virtual machines, Vipe BCNEXXT’s software leverages AWS advanced cloud-native features. Using a microservices-based, containerised architecture, the system dynamically scales resources up or down depending on the complexity of the content. This revolutionary approach minimises resource usage and keeps costs to a minimum.
“Our collaboration with AWS allows broadcasters to truly harness the power of the cloud,” says Sander ten Dam, Chief Operating Officer of BCNEXXT. “Whether spinning up resources for live sports events or managing everyday workflows, our system provides the technical agility and business advantages broadcasters need to stay competitive while significantly reducing operational costs.”
