SpaceX’s Starlink broadband-by-satellite service has cut its fees for subscribers in Canada.
At the end of 2023 SpaceX ran a Starlink promotion for Canadians, offering their hardware bundle of modem, dish and connector for C$499 (€340.42), a C$260 discount over the regular price of C$759. The deal was only for a limited period and set to expire on December 31st 2023, but was later extended by a week to January 5th 2024. But some elements of the discount have continued. New customers in Canada can now buy the Standard Actuated antenna for C$599, a 21 per cent discount over the previous regular price of C$759.
There is no change to the monthly fee for Canada, however, which remains at C$140.
