Technetix Group, the broadband technology provider, has announced that Paul Broadhurst, President and Chief Executive Officer, has been elected as a vendor board member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), a subsidiary of CableLabs and the applied science player for the cable telecommunication industry for over five decades. 

With his election, Broadhurst will work with fellow board members to implement the SCTE’s vision and ultimately drive the cable telecommunications industry into the future. Broadhurst will help to build upon the work that previous members have set in place and help the Society continue on its trajectory.

Broadhurst commented: “I’m honoured to have been elected to the board of SCTE as a vendor member and look forward to help broaden the SCTE’s global footprint. I am very committed to giving back to the industry which has made my career and built Technetix Group. I am particularly committed to fostering support of the career development of young engineers in the industry and promoting communications technology. I very much look forward to the 2023 SCTE Expo show in Denver”.
