ODMedia opens Australia office

ODMedia has announced the opening of a new Australian office. Based in Sydney, the new office is headed by industry veteran Jason Behan, who joins from Summer Star Creative, which he founded, to provide development, management, and distribution services.
Prior to Summer Star Creative, Behan was Vice President, Acquisitions for Universal Pictures Australia.

The new Australian office joins a growing roster of international branches for the Dutch content services and processing company, including in the UK France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Benelux, South Africa, Scandinavia, and the MENA region.
Established in 2004 by Sjef Pijnenburg, ODMedia has strategic partnerships with all the global OTT platforms and has been awarded ‘preferred partner’ status by iTunes and is a Netflix Preferred Fulfilment Partner, recognising its ability to provide one of the lowest redelivery rates in Europe. In addition to offering the full range of technical-delivery services, ODMedia acts as an aggregator for the major platforms, providing digital-rights management, monetisation, target audience development and cross-promotion. It also manages linear and non-linear channel playout for TVoD/EST, SVoD, SVoD Channels, AVoD and FAST Channels.
