AMC Networks International – Central and Northern Europe (AMCNI – CNE) has renewed a distribution agreement for Minimax with Telekom Romania. As of June 1st, Telekom Romania’s basic channel package will feature the popular kids’ network.
Under the newly signed agreement, Minimax becomes available to nearly 85 per cent of pay-TV subscribers in Romania, further strengthening the brand’s presence throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The channel, which expanded its airtime to a 24-hour service last year, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and is seen in five languages in 11 European countries.
Balázs Hajós, Vice President of Affiliate Sales, AMCNI – CNE, commented: “This agreement builds on our long-term partnership with Telekom Romania by making our popular kids’ network Minimax available widely throughout the region. As AMCNI continues to expand our portfolio of diverse channels, we’re committed to offering premium content to attract and entertain audiences of all ages around the world.”
