Studiocanal content for Hulu

US streaming service Hulu has acquired exclusive US SVoD rights to two Studiocanal series – Below the Surface and Midnight Sun.
Beatriz Campos, head of international sales at Studiocanal, said: “We’re extremely pleased to partner with Hulu in our first deal together. With the expanding popularity of foreign language series in this key market, we are thrilled to close such a substantial package of premium dramas with an exciting blend of European languages which will be showcased exclusively to US audiences for the first time.”
Separately, Hulu has also agreed a deal with the BBC for the streaming rights to hospital drama Trust Me.
