November 24, 2017
From Pascale Paoli-Lebailly in Paris
Canal+ Group has extended its DTT offer EasyTV to a third city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Matadi, after already rolling out in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa.
Priced at €7, the service gives access to 32 channels, local channels RTNC, RTVA, national and international. EasyTV is also coupled to Canal+ African channel A+. The service is deployed by Telenum RDC and in the areas where it has been launched previously it has “ten times more subscribers than the households connected to satellite” Telenum RDC claims in a statement.
Canal+ plans to continue expanding its DTT offer to other French speaking countries in Africa.
