Altice chooses ARRIS 4K HDR
September 19, 2017
Altice will provide 4K HDR set top boxes to its customer base after agreeing a deal with ARRIS. The two companies will jointly develop the new STBs, which will feature 4K resolution and high dynamic range (HDR) imaging capabilities, allowing better contrast, higher brightness and a wider range of colours.
The new devices will be deployed to Altice’s 6.84 million pay-TV subscribers across Europe and the US, starting in 2018. The agreement extends an existing partnership between the two companies.
